Good morning lovely people! Vegetarian high protein low carb breakfast 🍳 Since making the decision to become vegetarian I’ll be totally honest with you there are some foods that I miss! One being bacon sandwiches and it’s quite hard to find a vegetarian option that isn’t trying too hard to be like bacon. So far I’ve only found a couple of brands but this is a good one, they’ve got the texture right too.
Today was a good day! I went to Zumba on my own first thing which I was a bit apprehensive about but I did it!! 💪 She played some banging tunes and I felt like I had a proper workout so put me in a really positive mindset 😃 Popped home for shower and lunch and then enjoyed a lovely walk with the dogs - even though it chucked it down with rain. It went from sunny to cloudy to rain within about 20 minutes! But I was wearing a rain jacket and popped the dogs drying coats on when we got home!! Excuse the dirty floor but we had fun ❤️
What a beautiful day! We spent most of the day working in the garden. Cutting back, dead-heading, weeding, digging and cleaning. Just local dog walks today, no big adventures and a little chat with the chickens. We’ve had our new chickens about 6 weeks now and finally they all seem to be friends with no pecking, no chasing and no fighting ❤️
Not quite sure how long our harvest will last through the winter months 😂
I picked these from the garden yesterday and love the perfect shapes they’re so pretty aren’t they 😍
It was such a special day today, not a special occasion particularly but any day spent at the beach is special to us!
Such very sad news to hear of the death of Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II yesterday. She’s served our country with grace, dignity and loyalty for 70 years and also came across as a lovely lady with a fun sense of humour. Our wonderful queen who’s been there for our whole lifetime (most of us.)
I love this part of Godstone, it’s so quaint 🥰
As promised! A view highlights from our visit to Hever Castle yesterday 😊 The rose garden is still stunning and the scent as you walk through it is heavenly 🥰
