Hi welcome to my blog, Sunshine, Raindrops and Tea in the garden. My name is Fiona and I live in Surrey in the UK.

I only started my blog in January 2018 so I’m still learning as I go along. I am really enjoying writing – so much more than I expected to – I didn’t enjoy it at school and don’t think I had much imagination. Now I really love having my own little space on the internet where I can write down exactly what I want!

I made two resolutions for 2018, one was to stop drinking alcohol and the other was to write a blog.  So far I have achieved both, but the decision was just the start.   These two accomplishments are just part of my journey to make the most out of life.  I am sure I will make mistakes along the way but that’s how we learn and improve isn’t it?  After all, a mistake is just a ‘mis-take’ – an opportunity to give it another go.  If we all started off perfect with no room for improvement the world would be a very dull place. I don’t do dull, I like anything with a bit of sparkle 💖

I can’t spend as much time as I’d like on my blog as I work full time. I also have two dogs, a cat and family who need attention, watering and feeding! Oh and our newest addition – four chickens who are hopefully living their best life in the garden! We moved into our ‘forever home’ about five years ago and I need to also try and find time to make it how we want it. So far the only room we’ve really done is the bathroom and oh – how I love my bathroom 💕. I need so many more hours in each day – I wish there was no need for sleep!

I hope you will enjoy reading what I have written and I hope also that you may be able to relate to the things I talk about. I love to get feedback about what I’ve written so please feel free to comment, also if you have any questions please contact me.

My blog doesn’t follow a particular topic, it’s literally me writing things that I think about and things that I think are good to share, hopefully you will find it easy to follow and be able to relate to the things that I talk about.

I should say that a few photos I use on here are my own but a lot are from of them are from Pixabay – there is a great choice of brilliant photos and there are some places I’m just never going to get to!

Oh and I should also mention that on my home page there might be some images that relate to online shops, these are Ad (although it doesn’t say it on the tin) so if you click on these pics you will be redirected to shops. I have chosen carefully which I have put on here though so you won’t find anything bad!
