Following on from my post about the the coronavirus pandemic Whoever would have thought I thought it might be helpful to share some quotes that I feel are quite appropriate to everyone at the moment. I know that so many people face uncertain futures and are suffering with anxiety and other feelings as a consequence of this virus. I really hope that you and your family are staying safe and well and perhaps one of these quotes might be just what you need today.
I hope that at least one of them might help you to deal with the uncertain times that we are living in, or may be just what you needed to hear today.
I am sharing quotes from many different people, some are by persons unknown, plus quotes by Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, Helen Keller, Jimmy Dean and others.
If you have any quotes that you think are good to live by, please share them in the comments below.
You can’t go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are and change the ending.
I can’t change the direction of the wind but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.
Every day may not be good but there is some good in every day.
It always seems impossible until it is done.
A diamond is a chunk of coal that did well under pressure.
Gratitude makes sense of your past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Personally I like all of these and find them particularly poignant at the current time – which is why I have chosen to share them with you!! So what do you think about these quotes, are there any that you particularly like? Do you have any that you could share with my readers too?
I can’t wait to hear from you!
Thank you for reading 😊
