It’s English Tourism Week this week so what a perfect time to start my new blog. I hope that you will join me on my journey showcasing and appreciating all that there is to adore about life in the English countryside.

The coronavirus pandemic that is sadly sweeping the world at the moment has made me realise even more that I would be happiest living a more simple life. Certain things that I felt were important, actually really aren’t important now and I am more passionate about finding joy in the smallest, less materialistic things.

I am fortunate enough, in my opinion, to live in a fairly small village in Surrey, with two dogs, a senior calico cat and a garden that I love to try and lose myself in.

My intention for this blog is to capture the essence of quintessential English life, with posts about gardening, nature and the countryside, some photos, a overall vibe of positivity and the occasional ramble about life!
